Job summary

Performance Food Group's Performance Foodservice arm is seeking a Customer Service Associate to input customer orders, credits, and invoicing information, and to assist customers with orders and problems. You will liaise with vendors and co-workers to ensure timely, accurate answers and high customer satisfaction.

Work includes daily input tasks, attending training and meetings, and contributing to a safe, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6–12 months customer service, call center and/or related area.
• 1–2 years customer service, call center and/or related area within foodservice industry.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders.
• Input customer credits.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with orders and problems. Contact vendors and requests samples for customers.
• Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform administrative responsibilities such as checking faxes and mail on a daily basis, writing sample requests and special orders when necessary.
• Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
