Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs in Minneapolis seeks a Food Storekeeper to support warehouse operations for daily airline catering production. You will receive, track, and organize food products, scan inventory, operate pallet jacks, and rotate stock in cooler environments.

The role requires accuracy and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting with time-sensitive demands. Shift includes weekends; full-time, 40 hours per week, $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year of food safety knowledge required.
• Basic inventory or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in cold and warm environments.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
• Must follow safety procedures at all times.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and scan incoming shipments of food products
• Record accurate inventory data in the designated system
• Complete routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Monitor stock levels and restock items to avoid shortages
• Organize shelves and storage areas according to food safety and quality standards
• Rotate inventory using first in first out practices
• Unbox and store shipments following proper handling procedures
• Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment safely
• Load and unload trucks while protecting product quality
• Use proper lifting techniques for heavy or bulky products
• Work in cooler environments while following temperature control guidelines
• Handle food items with care to maintain quality and prevent contamination
• Support warehouse needs as assigned
