LSG Sky Chefs in Minneapolis is seeking a Seasonal Cold Food Production Associate for a fast-paced summer role. You will assemble and plate meals for airline customers in a high-energy production environment, with strict attention to standard recipes, portion controls, and sanitation.

The position runs June through September with 40 hours weekly and $19.00 per hour. Open availability is required due to seniority-based shift bids; seasonal benefits and union membership are available.

Qualifications

• No prior airline catering experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented production environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow written and visual instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plate food items according to provided diagrams ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare ingredients for sandwiches, salads, entrees and other menu items following established recipes and portion guidelines.
• Maintain food quality, freshness and presentation standards.
• Follow strict sanitation and food safety procedures.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining attention to detail.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.
• Work assigned schedules including overtime as needed.
• Follow instructions and production diagrams accurately.
• Support team members to ensure operational success.

Salary: 19.00 per hour
