Home Market Foods is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor in Norwood, MA to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. You will oversee inventory control, product movement, and transportation coordination while driving safety and continuous improvement.

You will develop staff, align with production needs, and monitor metrics to deliver OTIF goals and quality standards in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, or cold-storage environment.
• Experience supervising teams in manufacturing, food production, or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS); Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates to build a culture of accountability.
• Oversee receiving, put-away, storage, inventory control, and shipping of materials.
• Create and manage staffing schedules to support production demands.
• Partner with Logistics to optimize inbound and outbound transportation.
• Lead daily and weekly team meetings focused on safety, productivity, quality, and metrics.
• Drive inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and efficient material flow.
• Support OTIF improvement initiatives and warehouse performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and workplace safety standards.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain training programs, SOPs, and warehouse documentation.
• Recognize achievements and foster a positive, high-performance environment.
