Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is hiring for a full-time Food Unit Lead in Gilbert, AZ. The role coordinates the activities of food-service staff and ensures an enjoyable dining experience for students and staff at the American Leadership Academy facility. Monday to Friday schedule with on-the-job training provided.

The position emphasizes customer service, safety, sanitation, and efficient service, with opportunities to train staff and supervise menu planning and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory and food service experience preferred.
• On the job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees.
• Creates an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff and visitors.
• Provides quality customer service by detailing attention to each guest.
• Oversees preparation and service of food and beverages per company standards.
• Trains employees and coordinates work to promote efficiency.
• Manages daily/weekly/monthly reports such as inventory and payroll.
