Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is hiring for Food Unit Lead positions in Apache Junction. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Prior food service and supervisory experience is preferred, and we offer training, paid holidays, and alignment with the school calendar. The role coordinates activities of other food-service staff and ensures quality service and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control.
• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites work flow.
• Helps plan menus.
• Ensures timely, efficient meal service; supervises serving of meals.
