Chartwells K-12 seeks a dedicated Food Unit Lead for the Queen Creek, AZ site. The role supervises dining operations, coordinates food preparation and service, and ensures quality, safety and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced educational environment.

Experience in food service and supervision is preferred. Monday–Friday full-time schedule with varying hours; benefits apply for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Prior food service and supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the preparation and service of meals to meet company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control.
• Provides quality customer service with attentive, one-on-one interactions.
• Monitors timely, efficient meal service and supervises serving of meals.
• Trains employees and assigns work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
• Develops work schedules and expedites workflow to meet daily needs.
• Manages daily/weekly/monthly reports such as inventory, payroll and timekeeping.
