Chartwells K-12 in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a full-time Food Unit Lead to supervise a team of food-service staff during school hours.

You will ensure quality dining experiences, oversee food preparation, sanitation, and compliance with safety standards, and handle inventory, ordering, and reporting. The role requires prior management, ServSafe Manager certification, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs; pay is $19.50/hour.

Formación

• Prior management experience required.
• ServSafe Manager certification required.
• Inventory/ordering experience required; lifting 50+ lbs may be needed.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees and coordinates activities of food-service staff to ensure service quality.
• Ensures safe food handling, sanitation, and portion control per standards.
• Assists in menu planning and oversees timely meal service.
• Trains staff and assigns work to maintain efficiency.
• Manages daily/weekly/monthly reports (inventory, payroll, timekeeping).
