Job summary

Chartwells K12 in Lansing, KS is hiring for Food Unit Lead roles both full-time and part-time. The positions require prior food service experience and a ServSafe certification, with schedules Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, at Lansing USD 200 East Mary Street.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is required.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items per standards.
• Helps plan menus.
• Ensures timely, efficient meal service; supervises serving of meals.
• Responds to customer complaints in person and by email.
• Trains employees and coordinates work to promote efficiency.
• Prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports (inventory, payroll, time-keeping).
