Der Dutchman Restaurant Plain City is hiring for a full-time role to oversee daily food truck operations and ensure top-tier service. You will manage inventory, safety, and guest satisfaction while coordinating staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in the culinary field or kitchen experience.
• Food safety knowledge; ServSafe certification a plus.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional service to customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations on the food truck.
• Plan for daily operations and staffing needs.
• Maintain records, inventory, and income/expense.
• Ensure sanitation and safety procedures are followed.
• Expedite food and maintain service quality.
• Hire and train employees.
• Deliver orders to customers and manage logistics.
• Direct cleaning of the truck and kitchen.
• Post on social media and respond to inquiries.
• Record permits and book events for the truck.

What you’ll be doing

• Oversee the day-to-day operations on the food truck.
• Plan for daily operations.
• Maintain required records, inventory, and income/expense.
• Ensure food truck staff members follow proper sanitation procedures.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained while food is being served.
• Respond to customer preferences and complaints.
• Maintain equipment including refrigerator, and prep table and cookware.
• Ensure customer dining experience is satisfactory.
• Expedite food.
• Hire and train employees.
• Deliver orders to appropriate customers.
• Direct the cleaning of the truck and commercial kitchen.
• Social Media posts/ responding.
• Booking events for the food truck.
• Apply and maintain all required permits for the food truck.

Skills you’ll bring along

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the culinary field or kitchen experience.
• Understanding food safety and sanitation. ServSafe Certification a plus.
