We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER positions.

Location: Capital One Commissary - 625 RXR Plaza, Uniondale, NY 11553. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Sunday, shifts may vary. More details available upon interview.

Requirement: Prior experience driving large vehicles preferred.

Job Summary

Delivers food, supplies, and other products to units and areas of service using a vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Picks up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk.
2. Receives completed production orders, inventories items, and ensures order completion.
3. Loads orders onto truck safely and orderly with assistance.
4. Unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site.
5. Follows sanitation and safety guidelines handling food and equipment.
6. Ensures food items meet sanitation and safety standards.
7. Collects empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise.
8. Maintains cleanliness of the vehicle.
9. Performs routine maintenance on the truck.
10. Interacts with coworkers to ensure service standards.
11. Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license and food handler's permit if required.
• Safe operation of company vehicles per traffic laws.
