Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years of professional experience in food systems or a closely related field outside of academia.
• Demonstrated professional accomplishment and leadership in one or more areas of food systems practice (production, policy, sustainability, business, etc.).
• Experience mentoring, training, advising, supervising, or supporting the learning and development of students or others.
• Track record developing programs, partnerships, or projects engaging diverse stakeholders with measurable outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication abilities.
• Commitment to collaboration, outreach, and inclusive engagement with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses (e.g., Introduction to Food Systems, Practicing in Food Systems) and related seminars.
• Lead co-curricular programming and connect students with external internships and practitioners.
• Build strategic connections within Tufts and with external partners to support experiential learning and student opportunities.
