Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily meal service in our hospital. You will deliver food carts, assist with patient trays, and help with sanitation and general duties to ensure a clean, safe dining environment.

No experience required; a high school diploma is preferred, and prior customer service in retail, food service, hospitality, or healthcare is a plus. This on-site role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience in retail setting, food service, hospitality or healthcare.
• No certification or license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of dietary functions including daily meal service in the hospital and sanitation duties.
• Deliver food carts and patient/outpatient trays, assist with unit floor supplies.
• Sweep and mop floors, wash pots and pans, and maintain general cleanliness.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Job Summary:

Performs a variety of dietary functions including daily meal service in the hospital; consisting of delivery of food carts and out patient trays, unit floor supplies, removal of boxes and trash, sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning of pots and pans, and general sanitation duties.

Required Education:

High School graduate or GED certificate preferred.
