Job summary

Cox Barton County Hospital in Lamar, MO is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations in the hospital cafeteria. The role requires supervising staff, ensuring quality control, and adhering to the Missouri Food Code. Preferred candidates have 2+ years in food service and solid cash register and sanitation knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education: Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: Preferred: 2+ years of food service, supervisor, or related experience
• Skills: Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills; Excellent communication; Teamwork and following directions

Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for day-to-day operations of a food service operation.
• Oversees daily activities of the food service operation and evaluates standards and quality control.
• Directs and supervises staff as defined by the Missouri Food Code to accomplish all daily tasks.
