Job summary

The Salvation Army Midland Division Corps in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a full-time Food Services Supervisor to oversee feeding programs and kitchen operations. The role involves supervising staff and volunteers, planning menus, and ensuring compliance with safety and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Completion of culinary training program and five years’ experience required.
• Excellent professional communication skills (oral and written).
• Previous management and/or supervision experience preferred.
• Event planning and volunteer supervision experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise feeding programs and kitchen operations.
• Monitor inventory; issue purchase orders; manage procurement.
• Plan diverse menus to meet nutrition and contract requirements.
• Coordinate and assist events and Disaster Service Food Services operations.
• Foster a positive, courteous work environment.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee staff and volunteers; provide guidance.
