Job summary

The Salvation Army Midland Division Corps in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a full-time Food Services Supervisor to oversee feeding programs and supervise staff and volunteers. This 40-hour weekly role starts at $18.00 per hour.

You will ensure nutritious meals, manage inventories, plan menus, coordinate events, and support disaster service food operations, while maintaining safety and compliance. Qualifications include five years of food service management experience and culinary training;

Qualifications

• Completion of culinary training program and five years' experience in food service management.
• Excellent professional communication skills (both oral and written).
• Previous management and/or supervision experience preferred.
• Event planning and volunteer supervision experience is a plus.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety and health regulations and maintain proper sanitation.
• Oversee all kitchens and supervise staff and volunteers.
• Monitor inventory and prepare purchase orders for approval.
• Plan menus to meet nutrition and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate events and assist with Disaster Service Food Services operations.
• Maintain professional conduct and positive relationships with participants and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
