Completion of culinary training program and five years' experience required. Combination of education and experience will be considered. Excellent professional communication skills (both oral and written). Previous management and/or supervision experience preferred. Event planning and volunteer supervision experience is a plus. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
Medically qualified to work in the food service area. Ability to lead a team engaged in several projects simultaneously. Hold or obtain a Class E Driver's License upon hire and pass The Salvation Army MVR check. Obtain CPR/First Aid training within ninety (90) days of hire.
Must be able to perform the above essential duties. Capable of performing in an office environment to include using a computer, answering phones, etc. Most work will be indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. However, the kitchen will rise above 80 degrees Fahrenheit at times and the walk-in freezer temperature may be at zero (0) degrees Fahrenheit or below.
