Job summary

BayCare Morton Plant Rehab in Clearwater is seeking a PRN Food Service professional to join the hospital's Food and Nutrition Services team. You will deliver meals to patients and guests, maintain a clean production area, and support dietary needs under supervision.

The role requires a high school graduate or GED; food handling and customer service experience are preferred. Shifts run 6:00am–8:00pm with occasional weekends and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• HS Graduate or equivalent GED required.
• Food handling experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides food service to patients, guests, or customers.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe food production environment.
• Prepares food or drink items, assembles, and delivers patient trays or catering events.
• Performs daily cleaning of dishes and work areas.
• Receives and stores food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles.
• Acts as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
