Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a friendly food service team member at Morton Plant. You will provide meals to patients, guests, and staff, ensuring a clean, safe food production area and timely tray delivery.

The role is PRN with evening shifts (4pm-8pm) and requires strong customer service and communication skills. Experience in food service or healthcare is preferred, HS diploma or GED is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers in a hospital setting.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment.
• May assist with assembling and delivering patient trays or catering events.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between patients, guests, physicians and Food and Nutrition Services.
• Receive and store food and supplies using FIFO principles.
• Perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas and assist with other duties as assigned.

May prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events and perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles. Act as a liaison between, patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
