Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven is seeking a dedicated Food Service team member to provide high-quality service to patients, guests and families on a PRN basis. You will help prepare, assemble and deliver patient trays, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment while collaborating with hospital staff.

Flexible availability is required. Ideal candidates have 6 months of food service or customer service experience, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our patients, team members, and families by joining our food services team.

This is a PRN (as needed) position that requires flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers. Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment. May prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events and perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles. Act as a liaison between, patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
