Reports to the deputy warden operations. Directly supervises the production supervisors, indirectly supervises line supervisors, and residents assigned to the food services department. Responsible for the management of food services, which includes the resident dining hall and special food services in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) directives.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
High school diploma or equivalent, and three (3) years wage earning experiencein correctional, commercial, or institutional food service preparation and budgeting. One (1) year full-time, wage-earning experience in the supervision of employees is also required. Must obtain and maintain required certifications for food service in the state of Mississippi. A valid driver’s license in the state of Mississippi with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements.
