The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Food Services Manager to plan, prepare, and serve meals for shelter residents and clients. You will supervise kitchen staff and volunteers, organize meal programs, and ensure sanitary, safe food handling throughout all operations.
Responsibilities include menu planning, cooking meals, maintaining inventory, labeling and rotating foods, and coordinating the pantry to keep daily stock ready.
The Salvation Army of La Crosse Emergency Shelter provides a safe shelter for families and individuals experiencing homelessness. Every year, hundreds of men, women, and children are provided emergency shelter and fed over 80,000 meals. Community support makes all this possible. The Food Services Manager will plan and/or prepare and serve all meals for shelter residents and clients of the meal program. Maintain a clean organized kitchen area. Supervise food services staff & volunteers.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications: None
Experience: Three years food service experience, supervisory experience a plus
