Job summary

Advena Living is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager / Food Services Director to lead a dining program that nourishes residents and supports health and enjoyment. You will supervise the dietary team, manage daily operations, and collaborate with clinical staff to provide safe, high-quality meals and a positive dining experience.

The role emphasizes menu planning, food safety, budgeting, staff development, and compliance with FDA/USDA standards.

Qualifications

• CDM credential or enrollment in a qualifying program meeting state/federal regulations.
• Minimum two years of progressive food-service experience.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, FDA/USDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee meal planning, preparation, service, and daily dietary operations.
• Hire, train, schedule, coach, and support kitchen and dietary team members.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, supplies, and department budget.
• Collaborate with nursing and dietary staff on special diets and resident preferences.
