Job summary

Cache Valley Hospital in Utah is seeking a Food & Nutrition Services Associate (PRN) to prepare and deliver patient meals, obtain orders, and ensure diets meet individual needs. You will support dietitians and the broader nutrition team in daily meal service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver food trays to hospital patients.
• Obtain food orders from patients and plan diets on trays.
• Record daily dietary data and discuss needs with Dietitians.
• Assist with catering events.
• Assist customers with cash register food purchases.
• Wash dishes and clean work areas, counters, and equipment.
• Receive shipments and store food and supplies properly.
• Inventory and stock items in hospital areas.
• Provide efficient, friendly customer service to clients and patients.
• Assist with pots and pans.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Food & Nutrition Services Associate at our facility you will have the opportunity to be both a nutrition professional and a caregiver, providing delicious and nutritious meals for patients, staff, and others when they need it most. You will be joining a hard-working and compassionate team that is so vital for the day-to-day functions of our hospital.

In this role:

• You will prepare and deliver food trays to hospital patients.
• You will obtain food orders from patients and determine/place apportioned, prepared items needed for specific diets on trays and examine the trays for accuracy.
• You will record daily dietary data for patients and provide pertinent diet information to Dietitiansregardingthe special needs of patients.
• You willassistwith catering events.
• You willassistcustomers with cashregisterfood purchases.
• You will wash dishes and clean work areas, counters, and equipment.
• You will receive shipments andproperlystorefoodand supplies.
• You will inventory and stock items needed in various areas of the hospital.
• You will ensure client,customerservice/satisfaction by providing efficient, friendly customer service.

What qualifications you will need:
