The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for evaluating and assessing the patient nutrition needs according to physician diagnosis, developing nutrition plans and goals, periodic assessment of the effects of nutrition therapy and is also responsible for the nutrition education/ consultation of patients and others. Screens newly admitted patients to identify those at nutritional risk. Serves as an active member of the Dietary Services team participating in daily rounds and providing nutrition education for fellow staff. Participates in weekly IDT meetings on the Continuing Care Center and quarterly P&T meetings with department heads. Responsible for PI Projects.
