Job summary

Carroll Hospital is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare and serve meals under supervision, assist with patient trays, and support cafeteria production. You may be trained to use steamers, warmers/ovens and fryers, and will work across the Food Services department.

Experience is not required; preferred High School or GED and ServSafe Food Handler certification. This on-site role offers benefits starting after hire and growth opportunities within LifeBridge Health.

Summary: Performs preparation and service of food under general supervision. Duties may involve cold preparation and assembly; cutting, chopping, portioning of food products; assembly of patient food trays; cafeteria assignments, management and other tasks as assigned. Will be cross trained in a variety of tasks within the Food Services department and may provide support to the Coffee and Smoothie Bars. May be trained to utilize the steamers, warmers/ovens and fryers, to support cafeteria production. Takes into consideration age related factors in the preparation and delivery of food for patients, staff and visitors

Experience: Less than one year
Education: Preferred: High School / GED
Licensures & Certifications: Preferred: ServSafe Food Handler

Pay Range: $17.00 to $22.59 Based On Experience
