The incumbent serves as the primary shift supervisor and is directly responsible for supervising all food service activities, coordinating the activities of Food Service Workers across different elements of the Food Service Section.
To qualify, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date. Experience is demonstrated through training or work of sufficient scope and quality, supported by detailed descriptions in your resume. Evidence of knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties must be provided. Applicants will be rated according to the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards. The screening process evaluates minimum qualifications first, followed by further rating against specific job elements such as dexterity, safety, and technical practices. Rotating shifts: 5am-1:30pm, 10:30am-7pm, 5am-3:30pm, 8:30am-7pm. The role involves heavy work, including lifting objects up to 40 pounds, working in hot, noisy environments, and handling equipment with safety precautions.
