We are seeking a Social Worker Supervisor to provide programs, counseling, and case management services for hospital patients. Job Responsibilities
  1. Supervise social work staff providing services, programs, counseling, and case management to patients.
  2. Review and update job descriptions, complete performance evaluations, and review subordinate work.
  3. Oversee all social service procedures including new patient admission, data collection, therapy, discharge planning, and documentation.
  4. Ensure quality standards and compliance with regulatory and hospital standards in treatment planning.
  5. Collaborate with other discipline supervisors to plan and coordinate treatment programs.
Additional Details
  • Full-time, with work hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, including a 30-minute lunch.
  • Travel and overtime as needed; telework is not available.
  • Starting salary may be non-negotiable in some cases.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Education:

  • One year of experience as a Social Worker 2 or Forensic Social Worker 2, with a master’s degree in social work or social welfare, or
  • Three years of professional social work experience, including one year in a leadership or advisory role, with a master’s degree in social work or social welfare.

Other Requirements:

  • Meet PA residency requirements.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.
