**Food Service Worker II**
_We’re looking for qualified_ **_Food Service Worker II_** _like you to join our Texas Health family._
**Work Location:** Texas Health HEB, 1600 Hospital Pkwy, Bedford, TX 76022
**Work Hours:** PRN - Rotating Schedule
**Food Service Worker Department Highlights:**
· Fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional patient care.
· Delivering approximately 120 meals daily with attention to patient satisfaction.
· Serving patients with graciousness and courtesy.
**Here’s What You Need:**
· High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
· FHC - Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days.
**Skills:**
· Basic reading, math, and English language skills.
· Cooperative, discreet, courteous.
· Good communication and organizational skills.
· Positive customer service attributes.
· Teamwork ability.
**What You Will Do:**
· Serve food at cafeteria and patient tray lines, demonstrating good customer service. Assemble, deliver, and retrieve patient trays.
· Document food delivery times and food tallies; perform record-keeping such as temperature checks and report variances.
· Prepare simple foods like salads, portions, and garnishes as instructed.
· Clean and sanitize equipment, wares, walls, and floors regularly.
· Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils per standards.
· Label and date foods following HACCP standards; learn and follow food safety guidelines, including temperature recording and FIFO system.
· Collect and deliver floor stock, between-meal nourishments, and late trays, following standards.
· Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, dispose of trash properly, and follow hygiene standards.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
