Job summary

Maine Veterans' Homes in Machias is seeking dependable Food Service Workers on a per diem basis to support resident dining and nutrition with flexible scheduling.

You will assist with meal preparation, serve residents courteously, keep dining and kitchen areas clean, and help with inventory and safety practices. We offer a supportive team environment, and Tapcheck for early wage access to meet your needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.

Position Summary

The Food Service Worker is responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food service, and kitchen sanitation to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This position plays an important role in supporting resident satisfaction and overall well-being.
