Job summary

BAC, based at Patrick Space Force Base, is seeking a Kitchen/Dining Aide to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time and to our quality standards.

You will clean equipment and dining areas, assist unloading supply trucks, and help store supplies. No minimum experience is required, but reliable transportation, the ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test are required.

MISSION:

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for assuring assigned job tasks are completed within contract time frames and quality standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• No minimum experience required.


• Must have reliable transportation.


• Must be able to pass a background screening for access to the work areas.


• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.


• Must have or be able to obtain Food Handlers Certificate within 3 months of date of hire.


• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 months of Food Service experience

In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.

TRAVEL

No travel is expected for this position.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE (IF APPLICABLE)

• Must be authorized to access and work on government installations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Requirements will vary depending on the assigned tasks.


• Prolonged standing and walking.


• Lifting/moving up to 40 pounds.


• Manual dexterity to operate computerized POS system and handle cash.


• These requirements can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Tasks are regularly performed inside with little chance for exposure to adverse environmental conditions (e.g., dirt, heat, rain, fumes). Occasional, short-term exposure to cold while working in walk in refrigerator.

SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Some tasks require manual dexterity.

Availability: Monday & Tuesday, 8am-2:30pm, Thursday & Friday, 8am-2:30pm, Sunday, 11am-7:30pm

Salary: 17.75/HR
