Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, OH. The role runs from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, supporting hot and cold food prep, guest service, and station setup.

The candidate should have previous food service experience and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include serving guests, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety and quality standards. We conduct pre-employment drug testing. EOE.

Food Service Worker, Part-time Days (University of Mount Union)

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Part-time Food Service Worker at University of Mount Union in Alliance, OH. This position will work 10am - 5:30pm Monday - Thursday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas
• Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact and greeting guests
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures
• Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties

Requirements:

• Previous food service experience preferred
