• Location: Oaks on Parkwood Noland - 2651 Laurel Oaks Drive, Bessemer, AL 35022. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time. Hours and days may vary. Weekends are required; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: 1-2 years of food service experience required.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following service steps.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash procedures.
• Adheres to sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
