This Food Service Worker (Inventory Control) position is located within the Nutrition & Food Service at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The primary responsibilities include receiving, storing, distributing, and taking inventory of foods, beverages, supplements, and supplies.
Applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of 05/23/2025. Experience is defined as training or work of sufficient scope and quality, supported by detailed descriptions in your resume. Candidates will be rated according to OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards. The screening process evaluates your qualifications against the prescribed screen-out element, followed by assessment of other job elements such as interpreting instructions, technical practices, work practices, and experience, including volunteer work. Physical requirements include heavy work, operating in hot, noisy, and potentially hazardous environments, with frequent lifting of objects up to 40 pounds.
