Position: Food Service Worker
FT 64 hours/pay period, shift varies, at Good Sam Hospital, Clifton. Great benefits!
Under the supervision of the manager, this role involves setting up, working, and cleaning patient tray line, dish unit, pots & pans, cafeteria, or food production units. The position requires constant interaction with co-workers and guests, teamwork, and providing prompt, courteous service that exemplifies our commitment to Service Excellence.
Job Requirements
- Ability to read and perform basic math calculations
- Reading and writing skills
Job Responsibilities
- Operate assigned tray stations, placing items neatly and accurately, and deliver carts within time guidelines.
- Work in dish unit, pot and pan, or cart delivery using PPEs and sanitation procedures within time guidelines.
- Maintain proper stock, cleanliness, and sanitation of work area and equipment per department standards and HACCP.
- Demonstrate teamwork and flexibility; assist with extra hours and mentor new employees.
- Prepare and deliver patient nourishments, floor stock, late trays, and other requests following established procedures.
- Complete cleaning assignments regularly.
