Job summary

New Hampshire Veterans Home is hiring Dietary Dining Room / Tray Service Staff through Mfinite Consulting LLC to support tray service, dining room setup, and sanitation for veteran residents. This is a resident-facing role emphasizing attentiveness and compassionate service to veterans during mealtimes.

The position requires flexible shifts (1st shift listed) and teamwork with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth, dignified dining experience.

Qualifications

• Prior food service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push carts.
• Ability to clean and sanitize floors, tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
• Comfort working directly with elderly and veteran residents, including individuals in memory care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide respectful, compassionate service to residents.
• Flexibility to work indoors and/or outdoors depending on event needs.

Mfinite Consulting is hiring Dietary Dining Room / Tray Service Staff to support tray service, dining room setup, and sanitation for veteran residents at the New Hampshire Veterans Home. This is a resident-facing role where your attentiveness, professionalism, and care create a positive mealtime experience for residents every day.

Shifts Available

• 1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

What You\'ll Do

• Set up and break down the dining room for resident meal service
• Deliver and collect meal trays while providing tray and dining room service support
• Clean and sanitize floors, tables, chairs, and dining surfaces per facility protocols
• Support resident-facing meal service with dignity, patience, and attentiveness
• Coordinate with kitchen and dietary aide staff to keep meal service organized and running smoothly
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment

Before You Start: Screening & Compliance

Per NHVH contract requirements, all candidates must complete the following before their start date:

• Criminal background check (National Criminal Records Check or NH Release of Criminal Record Authorization)
• BAAS State Registry check
• OIG Exclusion List screening at hire, with monthly re-screening thereafter
• Annual Conviction Disclosure Attestation
• Fitness-for-duty attestation, and physical/drug testing where applicable
• Review and attestation of NHVH policies and procedures at hire and annually

Note: Former NHVH employees are not eligible for placement without prior NHVH approval.
