We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions in Spartanburg County School District One, located at 121 Wheeler Street, Campobello, SC 29322. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time; days and hours may vary, first shift. More details upon interview.

Requirements: No prior experience required. Willing to train!

Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work, and maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring ingredients.
• Transport food, supplies, and equipment safely.
• Store foods properly, following safety and rotation protocols.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
• Use recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently, resolving complaints professionally.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and issuing receipts.
• Manage cash drawer, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
