Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weighs and measures ingredients.
2. Transports food, supplies, and utensils safely between stations, stove, and refrigerator.
3. Stores foods properly following safety and rotation procedures.
4. Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensures sanitation and safety standards are met.
6. Uses approved recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
7. Serves customers courteously, following service steps.
8. Interacts with customers, resolving complaints professionally.
9. Relays information to supervisors.
10. Handles sales transactions accurately, including cash and card payments.
11. Issues receipts and processes refunds as needed.
12. Manages cash drawer, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards.
13. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
14. Performs additional duties as assigned.
