Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare and serve meals inside a jail/correctional facility. You will report to a Food Service Director and work on-site with shifts that include weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates will be passionate about food service, understand food handling regulations, and thrive in a team environment with flexible, quick adaptation to changes. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items following menus and instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and sanitary workstation; assist with trash, sweeping and mopping.
• Serve meals according to schedules and department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook according to recipes.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Operate as part of a team in a correctional facility setting.
• Must be able to stand long periods and handle physical tasks.

About This Position

Must be available to work some weekends and holidays

Days will rotate:

Hours for Saturday and Sunday 6:30am to 6pm

Hours Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm

The Food Service Worker prepares and serves a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus within a correctional setting.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• The duties of the Food Service Worker include, but are not limited to, cleaning as you go and maintaining a neat and food safe workstation, which you will clean and maintain. These responsibilities also include pulling trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Abide by all food safety regulations about sanitation, food handling and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks, while being organized and clean.
• You will have physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred:

• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.
