The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Food Service Worker at the Bath VA Medical Center. The incumbent serves as a Food Service Worker in any of the food preparation and service areas of the Bath VA Medical Center.

Experience: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality to perform the duties of this position. Evidence should be supported by detailed descriptions on your resume. Applicants will be rated according to the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.
Screen-out element: Your qualifications will be evaluated against the prescribed screen-out element, usually appearing as question 1 in the online questionnaire. Those with at least minimal qualification are considered for further rating; others are eliminated. Potential eligibles are then rated against the remaining job elements:
Experience includes paid, unpaid, volunteer work through programs like Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, and others. Volunteer work can build skills and provide valuable experience. Credit is given for all qualifying experience, including volunteer work.
Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours per week. Part-time experience is credited proportionally. Clearly indicate duties, responsibilities, and hours worked per week in each position.
