Job description

Duties

1. Sets up cafeteria lines, steam tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter, and beverages.
2. Serves food cafeteria style and breaks down/cleans area after meals.
3. Prepares dining room tables for service, places food and beverages on tables, and replenishes items as needed.
4. Operates dishwashers, performs preventive maintenance, and cleaning tasks such as scrubbing bowls, pots, pans, and heavy-duty cleaning of ceilings, exhaust hoods, and behind kitchen equipment.
5. Washes floors, walls, walk-in refrigerators, and freezers; sanitizes garbage cans.
6. Unloads food from delivery trucks and transfers trash to disposal areas.
7. Prepares and serves fresh fruit, green salads, cold sandwiches, and beverages like coffee and tea.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• Meet physical requirements, including completing a pre-employment physical.
• Complete required training, including Food Handlers certification, within the specified timeframe.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal U.S. Resident for at least 3 years and reside in/around the area.
• Shift work including evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

Qualifications
