Location : Houston, TX

Pay : $15 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary :

As a Food Service Worker, you will assist in maintaining a high standard of food service and cleanliness within the hospital kitchen and dining areas. This position involves hands-on work in food preparation, tray line operations, dishwashing, and trash removal to support the overall patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Wash dishes, remove trash, and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas
• Set up and serve food from counters and steam tables
• Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, and workstations
• Support retail operations, including food setup, maintaining supplies, and assisting in cleanup and closeout procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
• Pick up and deliver trays to patients as requested
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

Job Requirements :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• 2+ years of recent food service experience (hospital or similar setting preferred)
• Good customer service skills with a positive, friendly attitude
• Basic computer literacy for order entry and data tracking
• Dependable and reliable work ethic
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Shifts : Hours and days may vary, with 40 hours per week
• Salary : $15 / hour (based on experience)
• Temp-to-Hire position with potential for long-term employment
• Immunization's and Drug Screen required
• TB test required
