Wage Rate
$21.50/hour

About This Position
The Food Service Supervisor (Shift Supervisor) accurately and efficiently prepares and serves a variety of food items in accordance with assigned work instructions and menus. This position also utilizes a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food.

Core Responsibilities:

• Supervise inmate labor and/or team members during food prep and service
• Prepare or instruct in the preparation of food according to standards
• Follow safety and housekeeping practices
• Perform other duties as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in institutional food service or restaurants (preferred but not required)
• ServSafe Food Handler certification (preferred)
• Additional $0.25/hr with certification
