Job description

As part of our sub shop team, you will create fresh sub sandwiches and other delicious products to serve customers throughout the day, building rapport and encouraging repeat visits. What will I do?

1. Provide excellent customer service
2. Take and prepare customer orders accurately and promptly
3. Maintain the department's appearance by stocking, refilling, and rotating products throughout the day

Work Environment and Requirements

The physical demands of this role are classified as medium. It involves walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, frequent lifting (typically 5–15 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 40 pounds), and continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced setting. The environment is indoors, with exposure to cold temperatures (33–55°F) and hot equipment (above 135°F). Basic tools used include ovens, slicers, proofers, and kitchen utensils. Experience in food preparation and customer service, preferably in food service, restaurant, grocery, or retail, is required. The role may involve exposure to allergens.
