Job summary

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO, is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker for evening shifts (2:00 PM–8:00 PM), weekends required. You will handle, prepare, and serve meals per menu and sanitation standards, supporting patient dining and cafeteria operations.

As a team member of the nutrition service, you will restock supplies, maintain sanitation, assist in cashier and dishwasher tasks, and help ensure timely delivery of meals.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience in food service or patient-facing roles.
• Food Handlers Permit or equivalent certification, if required by state.
• Availability for part-time evening shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handle, prepare and serve food per menu and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare cafeteria food service and deliver to customers/patients.
• Restock cafeteria supplies and maintain inventory controls.
• Maintain sanitation of work areas, dishes and equipment.
• Assist in cashier and dishwasher duties as needed.
