Doctors Hospital of Laredo, a Universal Health Services facility, seeks a dishwashing/ sanitation associate to support the kitchen and patient meal service in Laredo, TX. This role focuses on ware washing, sanitation, and operating the dish machine to keep areas clean and ready for service.

Responsibilities include distributing patient meal carts, passing trays, breaking down catering meals, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and securing the kitchen at shift end.

Qualificações

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification required or preferred.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Chef, and Supervisor, this position is responsible for the ware washing and sanitation of kitchen facility. Operates dish machine and assures work area and equipment is clean. Prompt distribution of patient meal carts and responsible for tray passing and return of soiled trays. Breaks down evening catering meals and cleans meeting room. Sweeps, mops and takes out mats for cleaning, as well as removes all trash. Closes kitchen and secures doors after leaving department.
