Prime Healthcare's Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, TX, is hiring a Dietary Aide for day shifts. You will prepare and serve meals to patients, staff, and visitors, while upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include operating kitchen equipment, stocking supplies, handling cafeteria transactions, and ensuring dietary guidelines are followed. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and county-specific Food Handler certification is required on hire.

Responsibilities

If you have experience as dietary aide (Food Service Associate) with food service in a healthcare setting / healthcare hospitality you are encouraged to apply!

• Prepare and serve food to our patients, staff, and visitors
• Ensure food safety by following hygiene and sanitation guidelines
• Operate kitchen equipment like ovens, slicers, or dishwashers
• Stock supplies and maintain inventory
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment

Qualifications

1. Starting July 1, 2017, High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

County Specific requirement.

2. County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
