Prime Healthcare Services’ Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX is hiring a Food Service Worker to join the hospital cafeteria team. You will prepare, serve, and deliver meals for patients, staff and visitors, while upholding food safety and dietary guidelines.

This full-time role features 8-hour shifts, day hours, and includes benefits such as health, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement options. County-specific food handler certification is required at hire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock supplies and maintain inventory.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.

• Handle cash or operate a register for cafeteria transactions.

We are seeking aFood Service Worker,sometimes referred to as aCafé Workeror Food Service Associate.The Food Service Worker will work in our hospital cafeteria, responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering meals, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, and adhering to dietary guidelines. They support patient nutrition,healthcare hospitality,serve staff and visitors, maintain kitchen equipment and inventory, and contribute to overall food service operations in our hospital.
