Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Food Service Worker for an on-site role inside a jail facility in Missouri. Schedule is 5am–2pm with rotating days; weekends and holidays required. A $1500 bonus is available, plus benefits like DailyPay, health insurance, 401(k), PTO and tuition reimbursement.

You will prepare and serve meals following menus and safety guidelines. Ideal candidates are passionate about food, work well in a team, and stay flexible to changes while keeping a clean, safe

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• The duties of the Food Service Worker include, but are not limited to, cleaning as you go and maintaining a neat and food safe workstation, which you will clean and maintain. These responsibilities also include pulling trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Abide by all food safety regulations about sanitation, food handling and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks, while being organized and clean.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

About This Position

The Food Service Worker prepares and serves a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus within a correctional setting.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.
