Pay Range

This range is provided by the United States Department of the Air Force. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. Talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $16.89/hr - $19.70/hr

Position Overview

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Club at Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts. It is a flexible position, with hours varying between 0 and 40 per week. Flex employees are eligible for use of the fitness center, lodging, and other activities. The work schedule includes irregular shifts, weekends, holidays, and special situations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Set up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments, and cold menu items on a serving line. Clear dishes and trays from tables.
2. Operate and clean electrical kitchen equipment, clean kitchen surfaces, and handle food waste. Load and operate dishwashers, store clean dishes, and clean dining and kitchen areas.
3. Sort, wash, peel, and cut fresh fruits and vegetables.
4. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• Obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training.
• Work irregular shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position with no minimum experience required. Ability to read, follow instructions, use hand tools, lift objects up to 20 pounds frequently, and stand for long periods is necessary.
